I'm so sorry I post so often about my cats health... but this is seriously ridiculous.
I adopted Marmalade (almost 1yo) from the pound here in December last year (and she is now an indoor cat). I knew she had the leftovers of cat flu... and I knew she had fleas 'n mites, 'n other stuff like that... which i've been faithfully treating. I had no idea when I adopted her, that i'd end up with such an expensive cat, taking her to the vet every month for unexpected visits (minus the few times I had to go get her vaccinations).
Last month I took her to the vet after she'd been puking for a day or so. She wouldn't keep any food down. I thought it may have been the fish she was fed, because my other cat Max is "allergic" to fish.... so we went home. After a few days, Marmalade started vomitting and getting diarrhoea, and was diagnosed with Coccidiosis. That was all treated, and worked out fine.
Just the other day I was feeding her fish again, and then she went for a day puking up everything she ate (she puked 6 times that day). She was vomitting violently, and it didn't look like she'd digested any food for days. I took her to the vet again. I said again that she was puking and they looked her over. Her temperature was fine. She's still playing, she's still being a little
like always. They gave her an injection to stop her puking. That lasted maybe 36 hours.
I went and stayed at my parents last night, because I was sick.... and I came back this morning to find she'd puked again. I fed her, and then 4 hours later (about half 'n hour ago)... she puked again. Except this time, it was after eating chicken.
I have no idea what to do. I have no idea what to feed her that will help her settle her stomach. She pukes up her dry food as well. She recently seems to be scoffing her food as well... so maybe that's a reason for it? Except she's only getting very tiny meals... and she always seems hungry after them.
I've heard the suggestion about boiled chicken... and Dad also suggested some weetbix.
Any ideas anyone?
