This is the first I had heard of blue being associated with colon cancer awareness. I know pink is breast cancer awareness, red is women's heart disease awareness and purple is Alzheimer's awareness.

I had no idea either, It just so happened I was wearing all blue to the gym and a friend came up and told me about National Blue Day.
