Male cat GI foreign body incision

Hi I’m worried about my cats gi foreign body incision im so worried it’s infected and I need expert advice please help and let me know if I should take him back to the vet

It doesn't look very good. Does it feel hot to the touch? Is that pus I see around the sutures?

I think he should go and see the vet again, but it would be a good idea to send these pictures to your vet and ask what they think.

I agree. Doesn't look very good and that does look like puss around the staples.

I agree, I would send those pictures to the vet. It doesn't look bad, but he will have to go in anyway to have staples removed, call and ask when. It looks like a part of the incision came apart, that is not terribly unusual, and it is healing. You might apply some Triple antibiotic salve without pain relievers to help.
