Hello everyone! My name is Leslie and I wanted to share with you all that my Torty Shell cat gave birth to a male calico kitten!
Her whole litter was beautiful! One very pretty calico female, one very pretty black/white female, one very pretty orange/white female and the male calico. He is mostly orange and white with blotches of dark brown or black on his back and tail. Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all! Thanks.

Wow that's very rare indeed! He's probably sterile, but good owners neuter their cats anyway, so it won't matter.

When will we see pictures of your lovely gang?

How very cool...Kleinfelters Syndrome.....Sport has that too. XXY chromosomes, tri-colored male. Only 1 in every 3000 male cats is born like this. Congratulations!!!!

Sometimes a male calico is actually a Chimera, so the cat wouldn't be sterile, but he'll reproduce as a different color.

Double check him. Its pretty rare to get a male calico. I've personally known/seen only 3 male calicos for more then 20-30 years. Two of them were fertile breeding Cornish Rexes and one was a blue-cream male calico mixed breed HHP.

Post pictures when you can.
