A really good way to make it affordable is to write to the companies and tell them what your plan is and ask for coupons! I email Purina about every 2 months and they send me coupons for litter, dry and wet food. we feed dry and wet due to fostering and rescuing so many cats. Keep an eye on coupons.com too they have some dry coupons right now and some for tidy cats but last month they had 3 different kinds of fancy feast coupons.
