Thank you for the information. The last time we thought we had a cat with asthma (Fuzzy, RIP) it turned out he had cancer (a mass in his abdomen that was pressing against his lungs) and had to be PTS. It broke our hearts. But Marshmallow is so young. I am hoping it is asthma, since the symptoms are so much alike.Originally Posted by mews2much

I have so many allergic cats.
DH is picking Buster up from the vet tomorrow (the vet was unable to remove the entire tumor because it was too deep, but he did cauterize the area and wants to see him back in a week). DH is taking Marshmallow back to the vet in the morning. Poor thing, he sounds awful and is not grooming himself again. He is very particular about bathing, so this really worries me. He must feel terrible.
