Cheddar is so handsome! I love his name. Without papers, he would be a red Domestic Longhair. His body conformation is similar to that of a Maine Coon. Can you post some pictures of a front view of his face? I would like to see if his face and muzzle resemble a Maine Coon.

He is so extremely affectionate, loves to play and lots of energy also he loves to talk.
His fur is super fluffy. long, shaggy but is smooth and silky and doesn't tangle which is odd

He looks like he has a rounder face, so I think he is a bit more of a Siberian lookalike than a Maine Coon lookalike.

Maine Coons aren't very prone to getting tangles. Their coat has 2 layers, and is more silky, shiny and sleek than many other long haired cats so it's not as prone to matting. They usually only require brushing out weekly. We have a long hair cat with similar fur, tho not an MC, she hardly ever mats although we brush her regularly anyway because it's good for her and she loves it.
Cheddar is adorable but I do not see Maine Coon in him either. He's a domestic longhair. His facial structure isn't correct for the MC breed. I'm getting to be a minor expert on purebred MC's because I'm on a wait list with a breeder for a kitten and have done a ton of research.
He is however, extremely handsome and his color is quite striking! Thank you for sharing so many photos of him

He's almost the spitting image of my Samai. Except that his ears are more pointed than hers. And it is a belief that she has Siberian. Cheddar's face seems more rounded than a MC, he looks more Siberian to me.
I am partial to ginger boys too, & he is georgous!!! I'd be smothering that cute face with lots of kisses all the time! !
