I'm trying to switch luxor over to WBCL to see if that helps his allergies at all. but everytime i add more to the box he tries to eat it. how can i keep him from eating it? i'm afraid he's going to pick up a piece of clay.....

The WB clumps much better when there is no A&H in it.
If Luxor has had litter problems in the past and might reject all WB....
that might be a problem....
One other thing you might try is a box of A&H and one of WB.
Hide the A&H....but have it handy in case they reject the WB and need to go.
If you have any doubts about Luxor eating to much WB...
call the company and ask for ideas and how much is safe to eat.
