I've been lurking for months, but with the addition of Mollie, I've decided to step out and become a part of this wonderful site. Mollie was adopted from our local shelter on 10/9. She is an almost-4 month old tuxedo kitty with beautiful blue green eyes, and the pinkest nose I've ever seen. She also has a cold, so is sneezing and snuffling, and hating to take her meds. But she is eating and drinking and all the other stuff she should be doing, and doing it in the right place, so that is good.
Mollie joins Suni, who I adopted last March; she just turned 2 and is a beautiful diluted tabby. She really looks like a calico who'se been dipped in water, so I desribe her as a "Monet-Calico." Suni is a very sweet, gentle girl, and I call her "my sweet baby angel girl," which only cat lovers understand!
Mollie is also very sweet and playful and wanted nothing more than to play with Suni in the brief time I let them see each other. Suni, on the other hand, was not a happy camper. It's going to be a LONG process! Apart, she is her normal, sweet self, which makes me happy. I've discovered if I my babies are happy, then I am happy.
I'll post pictures when I can.
