Lump on cat tail

My cat has a lump on tail, like a boil, bleeds sometimes, not sure what it is or how she got it.

Anyone know what it could be...thanks

That looks like it needs veterinary treatment.

It could be a bite from another cat or another animal that has got infected. She'll need to have it cleaned and she'll need antibiotics to make sure the infection doesn't get into her blood stream and cause more serious problems.

Can you take her to a vet today?

I agree with the above, that looks like it needs to be checked out by a vet. Even if it is a boil - or an abscess - it would need to be drained and treated.
