Hi, I'm a newbie, and so far I just love this site! Finally I can be a "crazy cat woman" and be in GOOD COMPANY!! Our four babies are Pele, a cream tabby Ragamuffin/Persian mix, Scarlet, a red mack tabby persian, Bijou a cream persian and our latest addition, Frank Sinatra (for his big blue eyes), a ragdoll mix. We'd have more but there's only so much space for litter boxes! I've done some foster work but have discontinued as Bijou, our third addition, is not a "cat person." We are working diligently to help her accept Frank Sinatra, using lots of GREAT ADVICE I've seen here on the site - vanilla drops, towels over her when she attacks him, and I've got some Feliway on order. So far, she's calmed down at least 50%. She doesn't go after the kitten to attack him anymore and now she's only attacking him when he gets in her face (which is getting less often as he matures). Luckily, he shows no side effects to this mistreatment by her, and is very happy-go-lucky. Pele and Scarlet are great with other cats and Pele has taken Frank under his wing completely. They are our joys!! Anyway, I'm glad I found this site and enjoy it immensely.
