I have been giving my 6 month old kitten grain free and he developed stinky stool like the consistency of ice cream for a week now. Stool is negative for parasites and guardia. Sp? I have wet and dry side by side but people have told me just feed the dry and see does that help. He really likes the wet though so I give only a tablespoon of wet now as opposed to half a can and leave the dry out all the time. He hates if I mix the two together. My last cat ate only dry and great teeth and gums but did develop kidney failure at 14. Did anyone else's cat develop diarrhea from wet grain free? I use halo,wellness and natur recipe. I use wellness dry.
