Loose Stool Only on the Tip

My cat has been having inconsistent stool lately. The beginning stools will be normal, but it's always the last stool where half of it would be extremely moist, and sometimes even watery. The vet gave him nutramax probiotic. It worked well at first, but his stool went back to loose tip a week after.

I feed him freeze-dried and wet food. This problem started a month ago, and I could not figured out what the problem was. I even slightly changed his diet to a different wet food brand and/or stuck with one particular brand yet still the same occurence.

Is there any other remedies that I could try?

Yes, and no parasites were detected.

Through all of this have you continued to use the Nutramax? When it first started, had you recently changed anything? Sometimes if it's food related you need to become a detective and work backwards to try to figure out what caused it. But if there are no parasites,then it could be food related, so could be a protein change, a brand change,a different treat added, anythingn like that.
