You would absolutely LOVE Harry Potter!!!

Another one that is fantastic: "Love in the times of cholera", by Gabriel Garcia Marquez; 100 years of solitude, by the same writer...

I really enjoy Jodi Picoult - have bought quite a few of her books off half.com. I also read a lot of James Patterson's books. Just finished "Sail" in less than 2 days, and read "The Quickie" last week. I also think you'd like Jonathan Kellerman.

My favourite is Boy's Life by Robert McCammon.

Swan Song took place like cold war era, and its a story of a group of people who start out on different sides of the US and are surviving after nuclear war.... in the end they all end up comming together, but it is the most amazing story of human life, even though it is fictional..... you fall madly in love with the characters.... I have read the silly thing 5 times!

I was going to recommend that one too. I have read it so many times and I love it each time I read it. A fantastic tale of Good vs Evil, it a sit on the edge of your seat type of book. I agree that it is the best book I have ever read.

Another good book about good vs evil is The Stand by Stephen King. It is a book about the survivors of an viral warfare accident when about 99% of the world's population die.

I love books! I like to read mysteries mostly. My favorites are:

James Patterson (The Women Club Series, The Cross Series, anything of his):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...sprefix=james+&tag=&tag=thecatsite

Jonathan Kellerman (Alex Delware Series):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...sprefix=Jonath&tag=&tag=thecatsite

David Baldacci (For "lawyer, murder types" series):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...sprefix=David+&tag=&tag=thecatsite

Robin Cook (Medical mysteries):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...n+Cook&x=0&y=0&tag=&tag=thecatsite

Stuart Woods (lawyer mysteries):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?...+woods&x=0&y=0&tag=&tag=thecatsite

Lee Goldberg (Monk Series & Diagnosis Murder Series):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?...ldberg&x=0&y=0&tag=&tag=thecatsite

I could keep going & going. I love to read mostly the above authors (I collect their books to read & re-read again). But I do like to read new authors.

Happy reading!
