Hi, my name is Claudia and I am Shermans' Foster Mom for Cats Inc.,
at first we didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know what was wrong with Shermanâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s mouth. We cleaned him up and gave him antibiotics and, miracle of miracles, he was eating. When we took him to the vet, we discovered that he had a broken jaw. So far, heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s had two surgeries with the possibility of a third yet to come. Heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a fighter and has warmed our hearts with his resiliency and good nature. He loves to nuzzle and purrs up a storm.

BUT, WE NEED HELP WITH THE BILLS.

Oh, I wasn't offended, it was just a huge shock to open that post and see a very injured and bloody kitten!

He has a few teeth missing, but he is doing great. That does not stop him from eating like a pig. On wendsday, he has a check up appointment to see if a third surgery is needed. If not then he gets his stitches removed june 17

He looks a lot better now.His lower jaw is rewired. I will take some new picture.He is a true miracle kitty, he even purrs everytime you touch him. How animals can be so forgiving I will never understand.It breaks my heart, people can hurt them and they still love you. I know he is in great hands and he knows it too, but that should never happend to him

We don't know what happened .Somebody contacted us that they found a injured kitty. The Vet thinks that he either got hit by a car or somebody kicked him. I personally think he got kicked, because he has no body damage.I have him in my house since saturday and he was very scared at first, but I gave him a lot of love and now he purrs all the time. I will update my post on sarturday with new pictures.Sorry for the wait, but I don't have a digital camera.
