Well for me theres a couple of reasons, one is heat. one is one of my girls Lace, can not stand to be groomed so its just easier for her. And when baby time comes along its a little easier as well. I love to groom my babies though so its not a case of not wishing to pyut in the effort. and I brush and groom even the short hairs
