Hello,
My 9-year old rescue Torbie, Cece, just came to me in April from adoption from the SPCA.

She is very skittish and only lately will let me pet her on her own terms.

This morning, I noticed a long, faint, diagonal white scar against her rust and black-colored fur. It seemed old. Neither the vet nor I had picked it up, it was that faint. I first thought surgery (neat scar), or a fight.

Any thoughts? Thanks. I did email my vet as I’m positive there is previous owner-abuse and neglect history. Thank you! I may be out of town starting Monday for emergency. Catsitter is on standby, but replies to this may be slow.

Could have beein almost anything. Say pressing through a hole with a spike [NAIL, something sharp protruding] in the hole wall. Ripping her open but healing successfully.
