I came to the forum to find out whether I can safely give my cat mangosteen and found that I can. He is still bright-eyed and has a good appetite but is taking a med to settle his stomach as he was throwing up almost everything. The vet is pretty sure he has a tumor in his liver but I can't afford the specialist in a nearby city with a human quality ultrasound. If they found one, I would hesitate to operate on a senior cat so I am going to start Andy on Mangosteen next week as it did get rid of a large colon tumor in my brother. If I see any improvement, I'll let you know. If it doesn't help, I'll post that too. Andy could use some prayers.

You might research a very good site called HomeoAnimal, they have several supplements and cancer treatments that people have said have shrunk tumors in their cat. I give my cats Lifegold for cats and DMG I get on Amazon, they have Leukemia and have now been symptom-free for a year. I also keep them inside now because of their compromised immune system.
I know how heartbreaking this all is, you want to do what is best but do not want to prolong suffering.
I'll pray for your sweet Andy, for God to get him (and you) through this, miracles still happen you know! I'm sending healing vibes too..... :vibes:
