Something I noticed just yesterday when I was petting Widget, and confirmed more today, is that on her left "shoulder" so to speak, so about the top of her left front leg, she has a number of really small bumps. I haven't seen any signs that they are irritating her too much, no signs of scratching or biting at the area or such. She is 6 years old and her coat is black, and it's been hard for me to get a better look although I tried a bit earlier. The bumps are really small and don't protrude much from the skin.
Now at one time I remember feeling bumps on the chin, but I don't remember whether it was this cat or the other one. That would have been probably acne, but both cats are clear on the chin right now, and this seems to far away from the face to be acne. (I don't know how they would get acne anyway since usually that's a bowl issue and we use all ceramic and stainless bowls that get put into dishwasher after every single use.)
Any thoughts on what else I should be looking for? I've done some searching on this and not found anything useful so far so I figured I would try here and see if anyone else had run across something like this. Thanks.
