litter

i have 3 1/2 wk old kittens i am bottle feeding. When do i introduce a litter pan?? the kittens are starting to scratch around before they potty.. is that a sign that i need to?? and what kind of litter do i use for kittens??

I would say put a low litterbox in their area with some litter in it. Don't use clumping litter. At first the kits will play in the litter, digging, etc. But sooner or later one will get the idea to pee or poo! If you leave some poo in there, the others will smell it and hopefully do the same thing.
