2 weeks ago Abi was diagnosed with a rodent lip ulcer- an allergic reaction to something. she was put on a dry hypoallergenic diet and given a cortisone shot. For nine days she was lethargic, ate very little, didn't play and wasn't cuddly. The swelling did go down however.
Now she is back to herself thank heavens but the swelling isn't completely gone. I don't know if I should take her back for another shot as she reacted so badly to the first one. But Ii don't want this allergic reaction to get worse.
As for the hypoallergenic ddiet, I started giving her food she liked because she was really suffering and had no energy. What do y'all think I should do?
