Lily has taken to using one of the indoor/outdoor kitty's baskets to lie in. So, daddy went to buy her a basket of her own while she was in being spayed today.

Here's Lily basket

Aw, I like those. I keep thinking of getting them for my girls, so one can be inside and one can be on top.

She sure looks content.

dear Beth, your lovely Lily is sooo adorable into her bed!

Tell me, she´s a kind of Abysina? isn´t?

And I laught about your quote of "Her approval" to her bed!

Thank you Daidreamer, Sara and Rigel. She certainly seems to like it - she's curled up fast asleep now.

Sara - that would be lovely to have one furbaby inside and one stretched out on top!

Rigel - Lily is a Singapura. Much smaller than an Abysinnian. She's 10 months old and weighs 4 pounds. She's about the size of a 6 month old kitten. This is her final grown size.

Oh good grief look at that sweet little face!

She's so tiny isn't she!, she must be half Sophies size if not smaller, and only 4lb! awwwww

Beth you wouldn't think she's just had surgery today?!

Aw... How nice for Daddy to buy her a new bed! I'm so glad she like it!
I looked at that kind of bed, too! Now one of the other kitties needs to lay on top!

Thank you guys. We got this one from Pets at Home - I don't know whether that's a store you get in the US. But the maker is Gadsby and I know they are available on the web - that's where I saw them first.

Well she has really taken to her new bed
. I know Chris was saying we just need another kitty to sleep on the top tier now, but I think Lily has other ideas- she wants both layers for herself!

Here she is sunbathing in the window

Now isn't this just a life of bliss
(well, if you ignore the bit about being spayed yesterday
)

That bed looks great!
I think Molly would take to a bed like that too!
Was it expensive?

Lily looks so relaxed and content with her new bed! You must be so pleased that she liked it and didn't decide to stick with the other one!

Bless her, she's so gorgeous!

Thanks Susan and Sarah.

Hubby says including the two fleece cushions (they were separate) the whole thing came to £50. He reckons about £36 for the bed itself.

She certainly loves it - I had to prize her out of it last night to come up to bed
