Lily celebrates her lst birthday today!

Lily was a shelter cat whom I adopted and she turned l year old today!

I am  not the best at giving parties however I love photography

and have a nature, flower and people blog called sheri's healing

flower garden online.

I enter some contest and I share my photos with residents in nursing homes

that we just meet when we go to a nursing home to bring some joy to

those that their families just left them and do not ever come to visit them.

Bro , our 9 year old cat

he joined in also..

he is the large tabby male cat in one picture!

I hope you get a smile out of these photos today of lily on her lst birthday

and her  9 year old brother BRO..

By the way Lily is using the harness really well..I take her out once a day to the grass and trees

and she climbed her lst tree last week ..on the harness..

So glad you enjoyed Lily and Bro at her birthday party today!

I have a beautiful female red fox coming up to eat bread off the tree stump

where I feed the deer daily...I read that they only dine on less than 5 lb cats

or dogs..so no problem here..The humane society has a good read on them.

The male came through the yard the other morning running from domestic dogs.

I am sure they have pups in a den near us in the woods..

So Lily is on a harness and runs to get it on her when I say LETS GO

Bro ..larry takes him outside with his shotgun ...so we have the cats covered

as good as we can from dogs or predators..

Lily said I could tell you what she got for her birthday..

I already had the birthday bag, and the green toy circular with balls inside

and some of the other toy rats.

I placed those around her and the cake to have a colorful picture and party...

so she got a new toy mouse with catnip inside and the cake with number l on it

and a new  white snap off cat collar.

We all enjoyed lily and her party!

she sits at the large windows

and watches them and also the lizards on the windowsills

If I find her a colorful parrot stuffed bird that would go nicely

with a colorful party theme for photographing her next birthday!
