Like they haven't Eaten for a Week

When it's time for some canned food, my Wren knows right away when I get the can and am about to open it. She comes running over and is meowing begging for the food. She is the one who eats more of the canned food than Dolly.

Do any of you cat owners have cats that get excited over canned food as if they haven't eaten in a while?

When I tell the ladies 'Gooshyfood' I have all 5 of them twining around my ankles and meowing 'Hurry up, I'm starving'.  Julie and Spice stretch up on the base cabinet door and sometimes pat my leg with a paw.

Yes, mine go crazy for it.  When they were kittens I was free feeding them dry in addition to canned, and they had no issue with the dry, would totally gobble it up... but when I went to open a can of wet they would both go craaaazy even though they still had tons of dry in the bowl most of the time.

Now that I feed them all wet, they act pretty much the same, but now I think it's because they actually are hungry.
