Hmmm... mine saved as a .png. When I opened it, it opened in Preview, and I just did Save As, and changed the extension from .png to .jpg and it worked fine.

What sort of Mac are you using?

OLLLLLLLLD iMac, running OS8.6 [that's the most recent OS i can run on it!] but i figured out how to convert to jpeg, just couldn't get photobucket to accept it. so i did an attachment instead.

Mine changes nearly every day; lately, it's usually someone's cute pic from here that I save as wallpaper (I hope that's ok with you all); I like to surprise hubby when he starts up the pc--he gets a lot enjoyment from them (he doesn't surf TCS).

Right now, it's a pic from the Verdant Forum, of the birdbath, with the cat with the birdhouse on his head--H LOVED that one!
