IT'S been a long two-and-a-half weeks for Smokey the cat. The 18-month-old tabby was stuck in the wall cavity, between the laundry and bathroom of a new house in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, from about June 14.

It was sweet of the workers to give him roast beef and rescue him of course.
