Leo was approximately 10 years old when he passed and his passing is quite a mystery. He went from a normal acting cat to dead in less than 48 hrs. He was rushed to the ER MED VET twice where he died the second visit at the vet. I gotta tell ya, this has been one of the most difficult things EVER! We got him from the humane society when he was tiny. I walked in a room with a bunch of kittens playing and I picked him up and decided on him....When we got home, he squatted on the floor and I picked him up and ran to the litter box and slowly put him in and made a digging motion with his paws to show him, and that was it; he used the litter box ever since. He was a big cat and strictly an indoor cat. I would make eye contact with him when he wasn't supposed to do something and he would just look at me as if he understood. He was so smart it was scary! He had a temper so you had to be careful. He was so sweet I think because of ME loving on him so much. He trusted me to roll him on his back and put my face in his belly. He knew his claws would hurt my face so he never try to claw my face. He would also do this thing where you could put your hand out and he would rise up on his back legs like a Kangaroo to rub your hand. He would often sleep on his back with all 4 legs up in the air. So cute. He was so healthy and happy....even though I think he had the potential to be a MEAN cat, he wasn't. I can only guess that was because of me. He was terrified of rain drops hitting the roof or thunder or the doorbell ringing, but other than that, he would walk around big and bad and powerful with tail straight up. That cat trusted us and knew we loved him. We
will miss him so much
