This is quite long but I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experience, because I'm worried.
So we had our cat spayed over a year ago. A few months after the operation, we noticed a hole on her tummy with some pus coming out of it. We brought her back to the vet who did the surgery, and the vet prescribed some cream. Didnt really tell us anything exactly and we thought the he was just clueless so we decided to bring her to another vet who again operated on our cat to close the opening and prescribed some antibiotics. The 2nd vet said that our cat was probably allergic to the thread that was used during the spay surgery. This operation with the 2nd vet and the antibiotics didn't work as the hole came back after a few weeks. We finally brought our cat to the most reccommended vet in the city (a bit far from where I live). He also operated on the cat and prescribed another round of antibiotics. Even the best vet in the city doesn't know what's happening exactly. He thinks something wrong happened when we got our cat spayed. He took some blood tests and we are currently waiting for the results.
Does anyone know what the hole is? Has anyone had any similar experience?
Thanks in advance.
