Laundry etiquette?

I like to see the bed already made it looks more homey when you get there, when i leave i strip the bed for Kathleen she runs the cottages where we stay she always tells me off to saying i dont need to but she did go to the effort to make the bed

I prefer to do it myself as I often only use one part of the set

This comes from someone saying if the beds were made up then they cant be clean, so better safe than sorry. I also charge for my linen as many of my guests prefer to bring thier own, I think it may be a europen thing as my guests from Holland, Belgum and France always bring thier own, people from England hire the linen and of course anyone that has to fly cant bring thier bedding with them.

In the original idea of gites people even took with them some of thier own furniture
cant imagine that now thats for sure.

I must say that Jennie really does look after her guests, she even bakes them a cake
I'm definitely staying at Jenny's then!

I do leave a goodie basket with wine, coffee, tea, little french cakes and other stuff
oh yes and fresh eggs from my chickens
