My friend hooked me up with one of his cousins (Tracy). Anyway he told me she is a flower nut. So I was wondering what flowers should I get her?
Seems Roses don't work like they used to. I am on the rebound from previous 4-year relationship so I am a bit rusty.
Not easy getting back into the dating game when you were with someone for four years.

I would go with one of those nice fall medley types, with the assortment of fall colour type flowers that or an arrangement of pink and white flowers

I agree with Tracy, definitely a mixed bouquet. They also have some beautiful sunflower bouquets out right now.

Blind date?
I think I'd avoid reds and pinks (unless you know for certain they are her favored colors).
Yellows, blues, violets, oranges, and whites.

Mixed color carnations, or even mixed color daisies are good.

Thanks ladies I have some ideas now. Met his cousin before when I was with my last girlfriend and I am attracted to her and she is attracted to me. Just found out she really loves flowers so I really want to impress her.

I'm sure that you will do just great!

Everyone has given you such great ideas, I like the mixed flowers myself! Just a little bit of everything

Here's a couple of ideas I found online, you could even print the pictures out and bring them into your florist:
Here's a fall bouquet that's pretty

And here's a bouquet of orchids, which are always a good choice, IMO!

By the way, roses still work like they used to when dealing with flower lovers

I've only found a small percentage of people who think them 'cliche'.

I love roses!
Plus, I think its the thought that counts when someone brings you flowers, I never complain when I get them! I think its sweet, no matter what kind I get

They're still my favorite...they get me every time. (Though I'd go with white or yellow for a first date instead of pink or red.)

But flowers of any kind are never wrong. I'd talk to your florist and see what they have in stock that's in season and looking especially good just now. The quality of the flowers very often determine how well they look moreso than the type.

I love adding roses to my fall bouquets, similar to the picture below.

IMO I love the flowers but hate the vase.

If I was getting flowers I wouldn't care what kind. I would even like them if you picked them yourself.

I agree with the fall bouquet, though, lovely deep red Gerbera Daisies do me in
I think they're VERY friendly and they come in all colors, so if you can figure out her favorite color, you're gold. (my wedding flowers)

Gardenia's have an intoxicating and sultry aroma, so if you want to be a dashing gent, there's that Idea... but they are STRONG!

Lilies are out of season, unfortunately :/

Siberian Tiger,

You can find some great bouquets in the florist section of your supermarket. They are beautiful and not over priced. The picture I posted earlier with the fall flowers and roses, I bought something similar to that at my supermarket (Jewel) last week for 12 dollars but they did not come with a vase.
