Sounds a bit like what my mother is going through. She's at the wacky, irregular period stage. Don't know if it really works; but an old co-worker of ours used to swear by wearing a little deodorant "down there." Along the bikini line I guess is how to put it delicately. She swears her hot flashes stopped after that. Could be coincidence. I've never heard that one again.
