Thank you for mentioning this. Also, blueberries are more effective at changing the PH of the bladder wall (which helps keep the bacteria from lodging in the layers and creating havoc). The blueberries can be eaten frozen if fresh are not available. marshmallow root capsules are very soothing during UTIs and bring quick relief. A bit of caution (from my urologists): cranberry and juniper berries (commonly found in holistic remedies for UTI) can be too strong, and cause kidney irritation and bleeding, if the kidneys are impaired, or if the problem is actually originating in the kidneys. Just a caution, from someone who's been there.

Thats what I always do and I have never had a UTI in my life. I don't really like cranberry juice though.

Mine told me to pee before and after.It seems to help some!
