I have a geriatric foster kitty named Aiyana who has stomatitis. She had most of her teeth extracted in December, but unfortunately the stomatitis continues. She has been on three rounds of antibiotics with no improvement and most recently got a shot of prednisolone. While it helped her appetite, I'm not sure if the inflammation has gone down. I've been adding tiny amounts of l-lysine, probiotics, curcumin and PlaqueOff to her food, as well as a dissolved tablet of T-Relief (Traumeel). Having done some more searching, I'd like to give the lactoferrin a try, instead of the curcumin and l-lysine. I've PM'd LDG to see if she can provide an update on Chumley, even though he doesn't have stomatitis he was experiencing gingivitis and dental issues.
