Labor?

Yes 5 babies!! It took 6 hours so she was so exhausted. but she's gotten lots of sleep and is better this afternoon. She still refuses any box. I tried to put them in a low sided box with a blanket and she got upset and put it back on the floor ... So I put a clean blanket down for here and made a small fort in the corner of my room. Once they start moving around I will have to figure something out though. Any ideas?

How sweet!

I wouldn't worry too much yet. She may allow you to put them in a box in a day or two. Sometimes it's best to leave mom alone the first couple of days.

Watch for a runt not getting enough nipple time. If so let us know so we can explain how to supplement.

thank you! I will try in a few days. We've been leaving her be and not messing with her. She still doesn't know us well so I don't want to stress her out or anything. But she is doing MUCH better today. She's eating and drinking lots and all babies are eating every time I check on them
