my cat is in labor and its been 8hours with no babies yet. Is this normal? she is hiding and breathing rapidly. I just dont know if this is normal to go on this long..
Her water broke at 10 am. She is breathing rapidly and hiding. Keeps repositioning herself and seems like she can't get comfortable. How long will this last? It's already 7pm now and she has been this way since 10am. I noticed a little bit of blood coming from her gential area
I can't really tell if she is trying to push or not. I just see her lay there and then get up half way like she wants to push but then lays back down. I feel bad leaving her like that but I can't tell if she is still in the first stage of labor or if she's having problems.
I called the vet and they said if she's trying to push real hard and nothing coming out to take her in. I don't see that she's trying to push real hard yet, just seems uncomfortable. I'm so worried.
Yea, Im not sure if that's her trying to push or just being uncomfortable. Pushing looks kind of like a rolling motion almost. Are the kittens still moving?
I haven't felt her stomach, I'm afraid to touch her belly and make her even more uncomfortable. I will see if she will let me near her. Is it normal for them to not eat? She hasn't eaten anything all day. We tried giving her water and she doesn't want anything.
It sounds like her labor is progressing into stronger and stronger contractions. You'll know when she's really pushing. Some bloody discharge is normal.
