MY QUESTION IS WHY DOES MY MALE KITTEN WHO IS ALMOST 6 MONTHS OLD, NOT KNEED ON MY LAP WHEN HE SITS THERE. I THOUGHT THAT ALL CATS KNEEDED WHEN THE WHERE GETTING COMFY OR WHEN THEY WENT TO SLEEP.
I agree. My 4-year-old male is a regular kneeder, always has been. He can be counted on for a session when I go to bed at night, and sometimes climbs up when I am watching tv or something.
My 1-year-old male has never kneeded on me, or anyone else, but will occasionally "make biscuits" on the floor. He is also not-at-all a lap cat.
I have 2 cats. 1 loves to knead- it's his compulsion!! My other cat Chloe won't knead. If the setting is perfect and my other cat Romeo is not around, she is completely relaxed, she might knead ever so slightly. She won't even sit in my lap. But Romeo makes up for it- he loves attention! Some cats do it, some don't!
