Kneading with paws

She kneads it because it's soft and comforting, just like a mama cat. Kneading is kitten behavior (it stimulates the flow of milk) that a lot of cats retain. Don't be surprised if she starts kneading you, too.

My Beans has always been a "biscuit maker". When she was 12 weeks old she kneaded on me like I was her momma cat. Now she weighs 15lbs and she still kneads on me every day.
If I remember correctly, the kitten was found beside Highway 64. I too get kneaded every day, but by 4 out of 5 of the ladies. Sheba isn't much of a kneader. A lot of the time, Sugar and Spice drool when they really get into kneading me. So, I get tenderized and moistened at the same time.Your cat's name is sixty four? You have to explain
