I am still having a hard time keeping my kitten out of my adult cat diet food. She just doesn't eat kitten food- unless it's a pouch of wet food. I can only afford to feed her one pouch a day. My adult cat eats lite food. The thing that worries me is that my kitten gobbles up the diet food! Even if I sit there while they are eating I have to pick Isabelle up and put her in front of her food constantly. My vet said it would be ok for Annabelle to eat regular food in moderation. I was thinking about just buying some regular adult food (I used Chicken Soup) and giving it to both cats. Isabelle is 6 months old now. Would this be ok? I figured it would be better than her eating diet food. I just wish I could afford one of those fancy cat carrier food systems where only the cat with a specific collar on can get into the carrier.
