Hi, I'm new here and I wasn't sure where to turn, but a small bump on my kitten's lip has swollen a bit bigger within the last few days. In August 2015, she was a stray and we found her only a week or so after she was born and took her in because we didn't want her to get hit by the busy road where she was found. Everything's been good since then, except she possibly caught something my adopted cat had (we couldn't pinpoint it; it was either feline herpes or chlamydia. He just turned 4 a few months ago and he had it for pretty much his whole life, and a visit to the vet couldn't even help it. We were going to put him down because he was in such bad condition and I didn't want him to suffer, but he disappeared back in November, and we still can't find him. He loved to be outside, so I figure he went off to die somewhere quiet). Anyways, I'm not sure what could've caused her lip to swell, but I always thought she just had an under-bite. Now, she just barely can close her mouth and it looks like it's going into her gums/mouth. She eats and drinks fine, and runs around the house playing, too, so it can't be too serious. Something tells me it's the new litter we just bought, but my other cat is just fine with it; plus they eat out of plastic bowls, and it never bothered her or him. She wouldn't hold still for a picture, so this is the best I could get:
