Mom has een infection.  I'm not sure how she got it.

He said it sometimes happens without any special reason.

She has also a very small milk supply.

We keep monitoring their weight.  The vet said the smallest kitten is not out of the woods yet.

She and her kittens are getting antibiotics now.

Fingers crossed they all get well soon.

I hope the antibiotics help.

Are you supplementing the kittens since they may not be getting enough?

I'm trying to supplement them the way you advised.

But it is really difficult.  I can feel mom wants to be left alone with her kittens.

I put her in a quiet room 4x4 but she is moving them a lot and puts them on the cold tiles so I bought a XXL metallic dog cage with a soft carpet on the ground. She goes really crazy when I but her in there with them.

Even when I put her favorite kitten box in it with plenty of Royal canin kitten food (for mom) water and her own litter box.

I'm running out of idea's how to keep them safe and mom happy.

I have now put a small box where she likes to put them and she is lying with them now grooming them.

The only concern I have with this is that the kittens can crawl on her and fall out of it that way as it is only 10 cm high.

When you supplement, take one kitten at a time out of the room and then bring it back as soon as you're done. This should help mom with the stress.

Thank you for your support.

I'm taking your advice and it works.

3 of the kittens seem really strong one is still struggling and mom seems much more at ease now.

So... fingers crossed.
