So, last week we rescued a couple of kittens. A lady found a mama cat and five kittens in the mulch where she works. Three got adopted, I took the last two, and she took the mama.
Here's a couple pics from the day I got them. The little guy in the bottom pic (whose face you can actually see) is Oscar. His brother is Oliver. They are just absolutely adorable.
Here's a pic I took today from the other side of the room (hence the blur), almost a week after getting them. Oliver is the one hanging over the side there. About five minutes later he fell into the seat of the chair.
Trying to get my three older kitties acclimated to them. I have a 16-year-old boy and two 13-year-old girls. Oh, and we got a pooch the day before the kittens because yes, I'm crazy. The one girl, Maple, has been pretty my living in my bedroom because she's terrified of the new dog (Chihuahua) but they've all been around one before. My Luck-man (16 year old) sometimes plays uncle, but sometimes he doesn't really feel like it. And Sara is, well, the queen of the house. She's letting them know it too. And the kittens are on a cycle of eat/play/sleep, rinse and repeat. Over and over. I'm sooo not used to kittens, and all the crazy things they do is coming back to mind, lol.
Anyway, that's all of them. Enjoy!
