For the last three days, my eight-month-old kitten has been puking up most of his meals. He mainly eats canned food, with some nibbling at the dry food left for the other cat. None of the foods have changed recently. He's always been a speed-eater, and his favorite time to go wild and play is right after wolfing down his food. Yet, he's never had a vomiting issue until this weekend. He'll scarf down a 3.5-ounce can of his wet food in the morning and be fine for the next two hours or so. Then, he'll puke up what looks like the whole meal. The cycle then repeats in the evening. He has no loss of energy and he seems well-hydrated. I've eliminated playing after meals to make sure that's not upsetting him, but it doesn't seem to help. The only variable I can identify is that he had been on an antibiotic (for stool issues, which have cleared up). He had a terrible time taking the pill, and the first instance of puking occurred right after a particularly long struggle trying to get him to take one of the last two pills. He had been on that antibiotic for five days with no issue.
I'll talk to my vet, but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas.
