Kitten Vomiting And Pooping On Floor?

I have a 8 month old kitten, who has never had accidents on the floor and rarely has ever vomited. In the past couple of days she has vomited twice, and pooped on the floor next to her litter box. She is perfectly happy and is eating just fine. She is acting like nothing is wrong, but she has never done this before! Any advice would be amazing, thank you!

also could this be a symptom of heart worm disease? It must be noted me and my boyfriend work on weekends which is the only two days where she is alone, if that has anything to do with it.

Also, what was the color and consistency of the vomit? What kind of food does the kitten eat and is it dry or wet food? We're there whole food pieces in the vomit?

Also, how big is her litter box? Maybe she's ready for a larger one.
