If you are keeping kitty or going for another treatment please ask for clindamycin, while my standard go-to antibiotic with my rescue is clavamox, this particular antibiotic seems to do a much better and more complete job at ridding the symptoms of this virus over any others I have seen, and I've used/tried just about all!

Good luck.

Thanks so much for your help!

Jasper appears to be totally healed from the URI. He doesn't wheeze, snort, or snore anymore--it looks like the azithromycin did the trick. I really appreciate all the support!

Good to hear about Jasper! I am currently dealing with what seems to be a chronic URI with one of my foster kittens right now, she has had three rounds of different antibiotics and nothing seems to be helping her. :(
