About clipping nails:
What I do is only clip when they're sleeping. You can do it much faster that way and if they do wake up during the process, just nicely speak their name and pet them gently back to sleep. It works really good for me and has done so on even the youngest of kitties. Since kittens especially sleep alot, this shouldn't be too hard to find a time to clip clip!!
