Echo had a fever coat that he lost and went to all black, but over the months he's gotten soooo fluffy! We have a pretty big 11 year old rescue and a tortie who's 3 months older than him and he's the biggest one now! His big fluffy tail poofed out and then the rest of his fur followed suit. The pic of him on his back is from today and you can see how he's got some gray back and just fluff everywhere lol. From the top he looks just black with some light gray in his chest and surrounding his head. Is this a normal transformation for a long hair cat? He's also been sprouting some longer fur all over his coat, does this mean there is even more fluff coming? He will be 1 next month.

He will be more fluffier, he will prob get a mane as fully adult...

Its quite common black longhair cats has a big collar of whitish hair. Whitsh at least by contrast. In swedish it could be called for a stola, like fine ladies used to carry made of fur...

But his isnt no "stola", his seems to be whitish hairs on legs... Its just the face and head which are pitch black...

Keith showed up as a stray. In the first pic he was probably around 7 months old. His hair was short. Then it got longer and longer over the next year. As you can see he turned into a real fluffball! He's a huge kitty too! Your Echo is gorgeous!:)
