Hi everyone,
My 8 month old kitten, Ollie, got neutered this past Monday and everything went well. His incision site looks great and he has been eating, drinking and acting like his old self. Yesterday, around noon, he threw up just liquid and it was all yellow in color. Since then, he has thrown up two other times yesterday and once today. Last night he drank some water and this morning he ate about 1/4 can of wet food. The one time he vomitted today there were no chunks, just liquid, so I think he kept the food down. He's still acting totally normal - playing, grooming, using the litter box, active - except for not eating or drinking more. I called the emergency vet and they said I would probably be ok waiting until morning to bring him in to my normal vet, but that the decision is ultimately up to me. What are your opinions? Do I take him in the ER today or wait to take him to my normal vet tomorrow?
Update - I just got him to eat a little more wet food again.
Thank you in advance!
