That's what I was wondering too.
I've been trying to convince my mom but she keeps refusing. I fly out monday so hopefully I can convince her by then

I managed to talk to a vet who thinks is a bacterial or viral thing and to wash the tails with warm water and soap and that they could use some antibiotics. He said he would look at some notes and get back to me when and if he figured it out
Try to follow up with that vet. A round of antibiotics couldn’t hurt. Perhaps he will let you pick them up without bringing the cats in.

Hes in a different state but when I fly home I could possibly get then and mail them back.
