I also think you need to take Twinkles to the vet. They can perform an x-ray to see if she is pregnant, and if there are any kittens, whether they are dead or alive.
She may have an infection whether she is pregnant or not. Yellow pus-like mucus is indicative of infection. It's very important at this point that you get her checked out. She may need spaying right away, or a c-section, and/or antibiotics. There is also a chance that everything is okay, and as you describe her behavior, she does sound pregnant. If so, she would be close to 70 days now, which is hitting the upper limit of pregnancy.
