So one of my two kittens, Mr. Bean, is about 5-6 months old. He had originally had some issues with peeing and pooping in the tub, even when fresh box of clean litter is right there in the bathroom. Switched up the litter, added another box to the house, and started leaving 1-2 inches of water in the tub. This worked, for a while. Several weeks later he peed in my bed, and it was a LOT of pee, not spraying. Next day he pooped on a 2nd, new, clean comforter, in my bed. Now I keep them locked out of the bedroom all day long, except when I am in there at night.
I had made a Vet appt while all this was happening (this was a few weeks ago) but before I could even go, my 2nd kitten vomited up many full adult roundworms. So the vet visit the next day was more dealing with that, and they checked Mr Bean for crystals or signs of UTI and saw none. We THOUGHT maybe the worms (possibly in both cats) were the cause of some of this (as they can cause discomfort, diarrhea, etc) even though this particular kitten did not test positive for worms and I never saw signs of them besides the watery poo (which has since now subsided)
However i woke up this morning and noticed he peed in the bed again, this time while I was in it sleeping. At the same time I can see they BOTH used the box overnight for pooping as well, and they both use both litterboxes all the time (daily) for peeing in. I have been using the same litter and they seem to have liked this stuff the most and not tracking it around (natures miracle pine)
Both are neutered both are under 6 months, and I have had them both since they were less than 3 months so there is no marking going on, plus these are full-on pees not spraying.
I will take him back to vet again but its getting ridiculous. I also live in a small condo so the boxes are close and very easy for them to get to.
He shows no signs of pain when he is going, he seems to be fine with the litter type. I can understand a cat wanting to take the lazy route and pee in a nice smooth clean tub, or a soft warm comforter on a bed... but while I am sleeping in it? This takes it to a whole new level and I have tried everything for months and cannot figure out whats wrong with this cat. Everything else seems totally healthy and normal.
